FAMILY LITIGATION CHALLENGES – JUDICIAL PERSPECTIVES
The President of the Family Law Division of the High Court of England and Wales and a number of other English High Court Judges will travel to Ireland on 13th July 2016 to share their views on current challenges in family law litigation.
The Conference will commence with dinner in the Kings Inns on the evening of Wednesday 13th July 2016, with a drinks reception at 7.30 p.m. and dinner at 8.00 p.m. The cost of the drinks reception and dinner is €90 per person.
Following closed Judicial sessions on the morning of Thursday 14th July 2016, the programme will continue with a buffet lunch in the Kings Inns at 12.30 p.m., followed by three open sessions, commencing at 1.45 p.m. Each open session will involve a presentation by an English Judge and a brief response by an Irish Judge.
Please see the separate attachment, which sets out further detail in respect of the Thursday afternoon sessions. The cost of the buffet lunch and Thursday afternoon sessions is €30 per person.
Due to the manner in which the Conference came into being, the organisers are working under very difficult time and logistical constraints. Accordingly, if you are interested in attending either the drinks reception and dinner on the Wednesday or the Thursday afternoon sessions, or both, please register your interest by close of business on Friday 24th June 2016 by email to email@example.com There is limited availability at both events, especially the dinner, and spaces cannot be guaranteed. It is for this reason that the drinks reception and dinner is not being advertised on the poster, as there is already a very high level of interest in attending this event.
The Conference, which is organised by the Family Lawyers Association of Ireland, is being partially sponsored by the Irish Judicial Studies Institute; the Bar Council and the Law Society.
